Singleton Council’s proactive approach to risk management has been recognised at the highest level after taking out the prestigious 2018 Statewide Mutual Risk Management Excellence Award in Sydney today.
The award is the culmination of a host of hard work and innovation across the organisation that has cemented Singleton’s place as an industry-leader in all facets of risk management, including workplace safety.
Singleton also received two commendations for the establishment of the Integrated Risk Team and the innovative Most Valuable Player program that encourages staff to report workplace hazards before they become incidents.
The awards presentation was part of the Statewide Mutual Risk Management Conference being held in Sydney today and tomorrow.
