The National Guard is playing a bigger role in defending the 2020 election from foreign interference, expanding on what it did during the 2018 vote.

The Covid-19 aid package the Senate passed Wednesday includes $400 million in state grants for election administration, and a bit of a bump for CISA, too.

Coronavirus-related email attack detections are way up in March, going from little more than 1,000 in February to nearly 10,000 through March 23, a cyber firm counted.
