Christine Lynch has taken over the position of group chief risk officer at the Luxembourg-based private bank Quintet on 15 January.

Lynch has 25 years of international experience, working for HSBC’s Middle East, North Africa and Turkey branch, as well as its Swiss offices.

Leaving her position as chief risk officer, wholesale and markets and securities services, and head of enterprise risk, Europe, at HSBC in London, Lynch replaced Philip Tremble following his retirement.

“As a member of our leadership team, [Lynch] will make an important contribution to Quintet’s sustained growth by maintaining a sound risk-management framework, ensuring that we manage risk appropriately, reflecting the interests of all our stakeholders,” group CEO Chris Allen said in a statement.
