LAS CRUCES – Doña Ana County is seeking qualified applicants willing to serve on the county’s Internal Audit Advisory Committee, which is comprised of five county residents.
The internal audit function is designed to strengthen county procedures and to emphasize accountability to the taxpayers. The Internal Audit Advisory Committee works closely with Internal Auditor Ernest Harvin to develop comprehensive planning for improved efficiency and accountability, and recommending workable solutions to identified issues. The implementation of such solutions is subsequently overseen by the county manager and the Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners.
