Resecurity has promoted founder Gene Yoo to chairman of the board and appointed Shawn Loveland as chief executive officer, marking a leadership transition as the cybersecurity company continues to expand its global operations.
The changes took effect July 7, 2026. Yoo, who has served as chief executive officer since founding the Los Angeles-based company in 2016, will move into the chairman role after leading Resecurity’s growth into a provider of cybersecurity, threat intelligence and external risk management solutions for enterprise and government customers.
Loveland assumes the role of CEO as the company enters its next phase of expansion, with Resecurity continuing to focus on intelligence-driven cybersecurity services for commercial organizations, law enforcement agencies and public sector clients.
During Yoo’s tenure as CEO, Resecurity broadened its portfolio of threat intelligence and risk management offerings while expanding its presence in global cybersecurity markets.
