TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — State officials have arrested several employees of the Travis County Tax Office for suspected fraud on Friday, according to Tax Assessor Collector Bruce Elfant.
Elfant said an investigation started after an internal audit and confirmed multiple arrests were made.
None of the investigating agencies have revealed what the suspected fraud entailed.
