It points to the misuse of public money for golf trips to Scotland, overpayments to coaches and issues in collecting payments for use of suites at The Pit.

It has been about one year since former Athletic Director Paul Krebs announced his retirement, which came after allegations surfaced that he misused university money on expensive trips and dinners.

At the time, Krebs said he had nothing to hide, but the audit shows the department’s general activities deficit increased by nearly two million dollars during the past two fiscal years.
