The N.C. Division of Water Resources honored the following area water treatment plants for surpassing federal and state drinking water standards: Andrews, Appalachian State University, Boone; P.W. Swann, R.A. Thomas and R.W. Neilson water treatment plants of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utility Division.
Ernie Hanington has been promoted to vice president of emerging technologies at Allegacy Federal Credit Union. He leads the credit union’s technology initiatives and works with businesses to test new technology for future innovations. Hanington joined Allegacy in 2015.
Michael Seymour has joined Allegacy Federal Credit Union as vice president of technology. He is responsible for technology operations and leading the Allegacy project management office, architecture, application development, business analyst and help desk teams. Seymour has 20 years of technology experience, most recently as vice president of information technology at Pike Electric Corporation.
