Hudson opens Nike store at The Point
Hudson Group has opened a new 350sqm Nike store at Level -2 of The Point Shopping Complex.
The store replaces the previous Nike store on Level 0 within the same complex and displays a wider range of men’s and women’s footwear and apparel.
“We’re thrilled to be opening this new Nike store and bringing the best of Nike products. Through this store, which size and design is at par with Nike stores found in other European cities, we seek to provide the best of the brand to our customers as well as a unique design and environment,” said Kevin Grech, Hudson retail director.
The first pair of Nikes sold in Malta was in 1987. Since then, Hudson has sought to increase Nike’s reach both in Malta as well as in Africa. Through its head office in Malta as well as its subsidiary companies in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia, BDI (part of Hudson) manages most of Nike in Africa as far as sales, marketing and distribution go.
