Nozomi Networks — which specialises in providing security technology across OT and IT networks — has formed a partnership with Australian cyber security specialist Cyber Partners under which Cyber Partners will use Nozomi technology to underpin managed security services for operators of industrial infrastructure.
Cyber Partners will offer Nozomi Networks’ full suite of products, which includes its OT and IoT security and visibility product Guardian, its Central Management Console security management system, and threat and asset intelligence services.
Nozomi Networks’ chief product officer and founder Andrea Carcano told IoTAustralia the company technology scanned customers’ networks to find connected devices, discover how they operate and then identify any abnormal behaviour, without needing any prior information on devices.
“When we install Nozomi in a plant or in a facility we do some learning. We use neural networks to learn the standard environment. Then we apply our knowledge to see if something is operating in a non-standard way,” he said.
