Elder, Wiggins differ on investing funds

Two women with differing points of view on how to manage the Montgomery County Trustee’s Office are vying to replace Brenda Radford in that role.

Local Republican nominee Corinthia Elder and independent candidate Kimberly Wiggins are going head-to-head in the Aug. 2 county election for the right to claim the county offices that’s most entrusted with local taxpayers’ money.

Elder has been a deputy trustee at the Trustee’s Office since 1994. She has lived in Clarksville since 1992.

Wiggins has served in a variety of management positions in financial services since 2000, including branch manager, private wealth banker and licensed investment adviser. Most recently, she was regional manager of Capital Bank. Wiggins was born…
