Everest Insurance, a division of global reinsurer Everest Re Group, has announced that Christopher McKeon, current Vice President and Head of Commercial Casualty, will also assume leadership for the company’s Risk Management business unit.
Risk Management and Commercial Casualty will continue to join with the Workers’ Compensation, Multinational, Energy and Transportation & Logistics units to make up Everest Insurance’s Risk Management Group.
With more than 25 years’ industry experience, McKeon will be responsible for supporting the Risk Management unit’s focus on customised primary casualty solutions for large accounts.
Before joining Everest in March 2017, McKeon held various primary casualty leadership roles at AIG, including as Head of Primary Casualty for its Corporate Accounts group.
In his new role, McKeon will be based in Everest’s New York City office and will report to David Sandler, President of the Risk Management Group, who commented: “Risk Management is a key focus for Everest.
