The City regulator is facing scrutiny after it hired a chief internal auditor who does not have audit qualifications.
MPs have been asked to scrutinise why Robin Jones was promoted to the role at the Financial Conduct Authority, which comes with an advertised salary of up to £220,000, despite not appearing to have the “qualifications and experience” associated with the job.
