Former CISA Cyber Lead Lands at Capital One – MeriTalk

Eric Goldstein, the executive assistant director for cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), stepped down from his role last month and announced on June 30 that he has landed at Capital One.

Jeff Greene – who joined CISA at the beginning of June after a two-year stint as the senior director of the Aspen Institute’s Cybersecurity Program – stepped into the leadership seat for CISA’s cyber division.

“Over the past 3 1/2 years, I had the privilege of leading CISA’s Cybersecurity Division – a period characterized by growth and progress as the organization doubled in size and implemented a focus on driving measurable outcomes,” Goldstein wrote on his LinkedIn. “I’m proud of the progress that we made – from Secure by Design to our efforts countering Volt Typhoon – but I’m proudest of the team that we led and built.”

Goldstein announced that he will now serve as the managing vice president and head of cyber risk at Capital One.
