MUMBAI: Chief internal auditor of Essar Energy, Mazyar Kotwal has moved to private practice with a partner firm of Moore Stephens International to head Risk Consulting Services Division.
Kotwal, who started his career with Arthur Anderson, had also set up the internal audit function at Dhabol Power Company apart from spending a decade in KPMG where he was also consulting on risk management.
At Essar Energy Kotwal was leading the global Internal audit function while the company was listed on the London Stock Exchange. The Essar group is since in financial stress and some if Essar group’s arms are currently in insolvency.
