RISING SUN — After more than six months of silence following notice from federal regulators, the former president and CEO of the now-defunct NBRS Financial Bank has been permanently banned from the banking industry.
Jacob “Jack” Goldstein, who held the bank’s highest ranking positions from 2001 to 2012, is alleged to have used “his position as president and CEO to engage in self-dealing by improperly obtaining loans for his personal benefit and withholding material information from the bank’s board of directors.”
