Former senior leaders at IHOPKC ministry stand by allegations against founder

A former executive leadership team member and a former pastor within the International House of Prayer in Kansas City ministry are standing firm on sexual misconduct allegations they brought forward last month against IHOPKC’s founder Mike Bickle.Bickle is currently leave from the ministry as the allegations are under investigation. IHOPKC has determined one woman’s story as “partially credible,” but has said other women have refuted being labeled as victims.Dwayne Roberts, a founding leader and former executive leadership team member at IHOPKC, spoke to KMBC 9 Investigates after IHOPKC released a report last week calling some of the allegations against Bickle into question.Roberts, along with former executive leadership team member Brian Kim and former pastor of Forerunner Christian Fellowship Wes Martin, wrote a letter in October detailing “…allegations of clergy sexual abuse by Mike Bickle to be credible and long-standing.”The letter came after Roberts said the group tried to bring the allegations of one of the alleged victims directly to Bickle.
