In an important move to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, the Government has recently stepped up by providing essential equipment to the National Risk Management System. This initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, was highlighted in an event held in La Carlota, Miranda state, demonstrating a significant commitment towards bolstering the nation’s preparedness against risks and emergencies.

Strengthening Firefighting Capabilities

Under the leadership of Remigio Ceballos, the sector vice president for Citizen Security and Peace, the ceremony saw the distribution of critical resources to the firefighters. Among the equipment provided were uniforms, armbands, both commonly used and tactical rubber boots, raincoats, and first aid vests. The beneficiaries of this essential provision included 22 fire brigades, seven substations, and a youth brigade. This effort is part of the government’s broader initiative, the seven transformations program (7T), aimed at reinforcing the capabilities of firefighting bodies across the country.
