CLEVELAND, Ohio – An internal audit of Cuyahoga County IT contracts awarded during the second half of 2016 and all of 2017 – a period of particular interest to corruption investigators – should be completed by August, Internal Auditor Cory Swaisgood said Thursday.
Swaisgood provided the update during a meeting of the Audit Committee, which is made up of county employees, including County Executive Armond Budish, and citizens.
After the meeting, he declined to disclose any of the audit’s findings, which he plans to present to the Audit Committee on Aug. 24.
