Cadwalader adds partner Stephen Fraidin to New York office
Fraidin was previously the vice chairman of Pershing Square Capital Management and prior to that served as a senior M&A partner at Kirkland & Ellis. He is credited with advising on a number of high-profile transactions including 3G Capital’s acquisition of H.J. Heinz, Burger King’s purchase of Tim Hortons and the London Stock Exchange’s acquisition of Frank Russel. Fraidin is also a visiting lecturer at Yale University and serves on the advisory boards of Harvard Law School’s Program on Corporate Governance, New York University’s Institute for Corporate Governance & Finance and the Institute of Law and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Cynthia Brittain joins Katten as a partner in the trusts and estates practice
Brittain was previously with Northern Trust where she was the director of inbound wealth advisory and a senior fiduciary officer, responsible for designing estate plans and advising on the use of multi-jurisdictions for tax planning. She will be based out of the firm’s Los Angeles office.
