The Lockport School Board has approved a corrective action plan to fix some club accounting issues identified in an internal audit.
Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Administration Deborah Coder said the audit was conducted after residents raised questions with the school board over a lack of funding for the high school musical.
A May 25 audit report, submitted by the district’s internal auditor, Hungerford Vinton, LLC, examined the finances of the drama club and their musical, finding one “significant issue” and two “miscellaneous issues.”
