The team announced that Kim Ng had declined her half of a mutual option for 2024 and is leaving the organization. • The San Francisco Giants have interviewed major-league assistant coach Alyssa Nakken for their open managerial position, reports The Athletic’s Andrew Baggarly. Nakken is believed to be the first woman to interview for an MLB manager role. The Giants intend to fill their open managerial position as quickly as possible, aiming for no later than five days after the World Series concludes.
