M&T Insurance Agency (MTIA) has launched its real estate & construction practice, naming Jamie Cutler as the division’s group practice leader.
Cutler joins MTIA from Willis Towers Watson, where he served as an executive vice-president. In that role, he led a “top-tier” production team, a release said. He is a veteran of the industry, who has spent his career offering risk management and alternative risk solutions to clients across different sectors.
“We see insurance as a critical part of the financial services spectrum,” said MTIA president Kyle Samuel, who explained that the new real estate & construction practice will allow MTIA to work closely with its clients to assess the needs of their portfolio to offer personalized coverage.
The real estate & construction practice group will assist with property, liability, environmental, cyber and other complex risks. The group will also offer specialized administrative support for complex real estate organizations.
