After 3 years of implementation, the Project “Community Based Disaster Risk Management in Urban and Rural Settings in Quang Binh” has provided knowledge on disaster prevention and response fore about 19,200 people; provide training courses for people in the beneficiary communes on disaster response training pre-to post-disaster.
This information was shared at the workshop on pilots of the “Community-Based Disaster Risk Management in Urban and Rural Settings in Quang Binh” Project organized by the Vietnam Red Cross and the German Red Cross.
The workshop aimed to share good initiative, creativity, key achievements of the project as well as plans to maintain and develop the activities after the project go to the end.
