Harriet Aldridge has today joined the Government Internal Audit Agency (GIAA) as its new chief executive.
Harriet takes up this role following a career at PwC where she has been undertaking internal and external audits and leading high-profile investigations.
Her appointment follows the announcement that the GIAA’s current chief executive, Elizabeth Honer, will be retiring from the civil service at the end of the year. Elizabeth has held the post since 2018.
Cat Little, Second Permanent Secretary and Head of the Government Finance Function, said:
