NITDA, Others Highlight Cybersecurity Risks

The Assistant Director, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Mohammed Yahaya, at a recent virtual cyber-security conference tagged: ‘CyFrica 2021,’ stressed the need for risk assessment to evaluate the risk of the new normal, occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, Kaspersky’s Head of Research Centre at META, Dr.

Mohamad Hasbini, while sharing his insight on the pandemic, said: “The attackers will continue to exploit the pandemic without any shame or restriction as they have not even spared the medical research centers that are working on developing the vaccine.”

The DPS Division’s Manager of Systems Engineering, at Dell Technologies, Ravi Baldev, also said: “If you want to protect your digital transformation journeys, you got to have the right mechanisms,” while enlightening all the participants on data protection.
