The global legal giant announced Thursday that it had hired Steven Roosa and Christopher Cwalina from Holland & Knight in New York and Washington, D.C., respectively, where they previously served as co-chair of the firm’s privacy and data security team. Also joining Norton Rose is San Francisco-based partner Jeewon Serrato, most recently counsel and head of the global privacy and data management practice at Shearman & Sterling.
Norton Rose’s global risk group, which now includes 80 lawyers, took a hit earlier this year when Cooley hired partners Boris Segalis and Dave Navetta, the former co-chairs of its U.S. data protection, privacy and cybersecurity practice.
