
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov heard a report on the implementation of instructions given to ensure control over the situation in the domestic petroleum products market and prevent illegal outflow of petroleum products from Kazakhstan.
Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhanov reported on the stable situation in the petroleum products market. It was noted that Kazakhstani oil refineries are operating in a planned mode. The total stocks of gasoline, diesel fuel, and aviation fuel in Kazakhstan ensure the needs of the domestic market. The Ministry of Energy keeps the situation with the production and supply of petroleum products under control.
According to Minister of Internal Affairs Yerzhan Sadenov, since the beginning of the year, 593 attempts to export petroleum products with a total volume of over 40 thousand liters have been prevented at automobile checkpoints. Overall, within the framework of the Roadmap to prevent illegal export of petroleum products, enhanced control is being carried out in border zones. The staff of employees has been increased for the prompt conduct of in-depth inspection measures.
