A public hearing has been scheduled as part of Tuesday’s regular Killeen school board meeting.
The annual Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas report for the district for the period ending Aug. 31 will be available at the meeting. Anyone who wishes to comment on the report may do so by adding their name to a sign-up sheet prior to the meeting start, which is at 6 p.m. Speakers will be given a three-minute time limit and the should note that board members will not be able to respond to comments at this meeting although they may direct staff to follow-up on any questions or requests for further information regarding the report.
Included in the report will be the superintendent’s current contract, a summary schedule of total reimbursements received by the superintendent and each school board member, a summary schedule of compensation and/or fees received by the superintendent from outside entities in exchange for professional consulting and/or other personal services, a summary schedule of the total dollar amount by the…
