Paytm extortion case
Sharma has said that the plan could be part of a larger conspiracy against the company. While investigations are on in the tangled Paytm case, corporate annals are rife with employees stealing company data or assets to make a quick buck.

What Happened: Hussain, a former employee of Canada’s largest drug maker, stole a pile of pharma intellectual property, with alleged plans to set up his own lab in Pakistan.
Ironically, Apotex itself has been sued by the world’s largest drug maker Teva for using drugs, sex and USB drives to steal its trade secrets.
