Sioux Falls audit manager resigning 20 months into job

The city of Sioux Falls’ internal auditor manager is resigning her post.

Kim Schroeder, the head of the city’s internal audit division, alerted city councilors this week that she intends to resign from the position.

Human Resources Director Bill O’Toole confirmed Schroeder’s resignation via email Friday. 

“Kim is still a city employee, but she has notified the council/city of her resignation, which becomes effective August 10,” he wrote.

Though she’s still employed, messages seeking comment for this story sent to her city email account were bounced back as undeliverable.
