Cloud information archiving firm Smarsh Inc. revealed today that it has acquired cybersecurity compliance and risk analytics firm Entreda Inc. for an undisclosed price.
Founded in 2010, Entreda offers a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity software, systems and training to the wealth management industry. The company’s cyber risk platform Unity is designed to assist regulated industries monitor and protect client information and assets with high levels of security.
The company’s software is designed to automate cybersecurity compliance on user devices, networks and applications with monitoring applications and real-time auto-remediation of any noncompliance detected. Users can set up rule-based compliance checks, automated alerts and notifications as well as get access to comprehensive audit trails and logs.
Entreda’s security tools include remote desktop, automatic virtual private networks, data leakage monitoring, password policy monitoring and enforcement, antivirus and anti-malware tools, and device encryption.
