The United National Party (UNP) plans to hold a May Day Rally at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo from 10:00 May 1. Thousands of members and supporters will probably participate in the event.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the stadium through the evening of May 1.
