Telos to Support FBI’s Cyber Risk Management Effort With Xacta Suite

Ashburn, Virginia-based information technology company Telos has received a potential five-year, $13.5 million contract from the FBI for a cyber risk management capability in support of the bureau’s Enterprise Information Security Section.

The company said Wednesday its Xacta offering will be employed by the FBI in an effort to meet governance, risk management and compliance requirements and will be added to GovCloud and later to Commercial Cloud Services and Secret Commercial Cloud Services architectures.

It features security controls, customizable user interface, status visibility and other FBI requirements for a risk management product.

The contract has a one-year base period valued at more than $4 million, and four option years. The award also provides for optimization services in support of the agency’s technology, people and processes.

Xacta is also used by the Department of Defense, other members of the intelligence community and civilian agencies, according to John Wood, chairman and CEO of Telos.
