A team of students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UWM) have won the 2018 Spencer-RIMS Risk Management Challenge, the Spencer Educational Foundation reports.
Case study provider Andrew Bent, risk manager at Sage Group plc announced the award during a reception at the RIMS 2018 Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio.
The team of four risk management students competed against 26 other universities and delivered the award-winning risk management presentation in front industry leaders at the RIMS conference.
Members of the UWM winning team are Becky Cacioppo, Taryn Otto, Cassandra Ring and Cameron Rowe. Their academic advisor is Carl Barlett.
