Millnet, a British document and data processing business, has acquired four U.S. offices from former parent company Consilio, a legal technology solutions and enterprise legal services provider. The sites are in New York, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis and San Diego and are staffed by 46 people who will join Millnet. Consilio continues operating its core offices in New York and Washington, D.C.
This deal follows the management buyout of Millnet in the UK from Consilio in February 2024. Consilio’s offices were acquired in a deal that will enable Millnet to expand its geographical footprint.
Millnet operates from sites in London and Manchester in the UK, where it employs 37 people, and provides document, data management and processing services to clients in the professional services sector. The acquisition of the four U.S. offices will more than double the existing turnover of the business and serve as a springboard for further expansion in the U.S. and North America, Millnet said in a news release.
