By Eli Flesch (October 28, 2021, 6:02 PM EDT) — A Zurich Insurance Group survey of risk professionals found that 83% of respondents carried cyberinsurance, the highest percentage in the 11-year history of the survey, bringing efforts to prevent cyberattacks to the forefront of businesses’ attention.
Released Wednesday, the survey suggested that building systems that are more resilient to cyberattacks will be one of the greatest challenges for businesses moving forward. Insurance underwriters will want to see more frequent cybersecurity checks to monitor more closely what aspects of their systems could be vulnerable, Zurich said.
