By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Youths from the Youth Empowerment Alliance in Cayo participated today in the National Youth Conference hosted by the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change & Disaster Risk Management and Ministry of Youth.
President of the Youth Empowerment Alliance Adrian Palma expressed pride following the participation of the members.
“As the President of the Youth Empowerment Alliance, I am so proud of these three young ladies as our group continues to promote women empowerment
Today, three of our members attended the Belize Voluntary National Review with a focus on Belize’s 2030 Agenda and our SDGs.
One of our members gave the closing address at the conference while another member had a brief discussion with Hon. Orlando Habet at the conference,” Palma said.
“Our youths continue to be involved in the crucial discussions needed to take our country forward. Thank you Department of Youth Services for inviting our members for the National Youth Conference,” he added.
Palma congratulated members Zabrina Pałma Gonzałez, Virginia Deleon and Cef Guerra for their stellar participation.
