Exeter Science Park will welcome a new Centre of Excellence focused on supporting businesses against cyber threats in the rapidly expanding technology sector.

The rapid escalation of cyber risks in today’s digital age means that businesses of all sizes have become increasingly vulnerable to cyber-attacks, data breaches, and other online threats.

After recognising the need for specialised expertise in this area, James Hallam Insurance is developing a cyber and technology hub at its new offices at Exeter Science Park.

The company has invested in a dedicated team of cyber-risk professionals, who will assist businesses facing complicated risks and provide specialised risk management and insurance solutions to clients across the UK.

This new centre will serve as a hub for research, risk assessment, and the development of tailored cyber insurance products designed to meet the needs of modern businesses.

The team, who have been working with business incubator SETsquared for around five years, plans to collaborate with Exeter College and the University of Exeter and will be recruiting new staff to their Exeter Science Park base.
