A former head of the Ormon-Khan rural district in the Kochkor region has been detained in the Naryn region. The arrest was made due to identified violations in the area of public procurement, as reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR).
According to the information from the state committee, an audit conducted by the internal audit service of the Ministry of Finance established that in 2025, under the leadership of the former head A.B.K., the provisions of the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Accounting” and “On Public Procurement” were violated. These violations resulted in damage to the state budget amounting to 5,699,000 soms.
The detention took place on March 31 as part of a criminal case initiated under Article 337, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The former head has been placed in a temporary detention facility of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Naryn.
Currently, investigative actions regarding this case are ongoing.
