Today (4 January), PwC launched its 2018 Global State of Information Security Survey (GSISS), based on responses from more than 9,500 senior business and technology executives from 122 countries around the globe, including Ireland.
40pc of survey respondents said that disruption of operations is the biggest consequence of a cyberattack, while 39pc cited the compromise of sensitive data, 32pc said harm to product quality and 22pc said harm to human life.
