The management and staff of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA) will from July 2–6 hold a retreat to evaluate its performance during the just-ending fiscal year, and finalize the Agency’s annual plan for 2018/19 fiscal year.
Amongst the many anti-graft agencies in the public sector, the IAA believes it is the only integrity institution structured to actively support more than 50 institutions of government on a day to day basis. The IAA offers the first line of defense in the fight against corruption, and has the legal mandate and institutional design to prevent fraud, waste and abuse.
