IUP to hold cyber security seminar | News

Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Office of Extended Studies, InfraGard Pittsburgh and S&T Bank will present “Securing Our Region: A Cyber Security Seminar” Oct. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, 711 Pratt Drive.

Calvin Slegal, executive director, Ernst & Young, is the keynote presenter. His presentation is “Organizational Cyber Security Risk and Control Considerations.”

The program includes both technical and non-technical sessions. Cyber security experts will educate attendees on current and future trends and what they can do to secure and defend critical information. This years’ event will include a “Capture the Flag” exercise, an update on GDPR, and a CISO panel.
