A minority of central banks modified the risk management functions to reflect changing responsibilities over the past two years, the Risk Management Benchmarks 2024 find.
In all, 14 (42.4%) of 33 central banks made changes to their risk management. However, the status quo remains unchanged in 19 (57.6%) jurisdictions. Central banks in higher income brackets appear to be more active in updating their risk frameworks.
