Nashville public schools approved using a local legal firm to evaluate its human resources investigation processes, an area that has come under fire after a few employees were placed under investigation for sexual harassment.
It came on the same night the Metro Nashville Office of Internal Audit detailed its review of Director of Schools Shawn Joseph spending since July 2016.
The human resources review contract with Bone, McAllester, Norton PLLC is not to exceed $100,000 and was approved during the board’s consent agenda.
