SD Audit Committee Names Kyle Elser Interim City Auditor

The San Diego City Council’s Audit Committee Wednesday announced it has named Kyle Elser as interim city auditor by a unanimous vote, 5-0.

Elser, who is currently the assistant city auditor, takes over for Eduardo Luna, who has held the post since 2009. Luna announced in August that he planned to vacate his office Sept. 28 to take an auditor position with the city of Beverly Hills.
