The first-ever IIA International Conference on the UAE soil will take place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the participants from 110 countries. The UAE accounts for about 45 per cent of the total number of internal auditors working in the region, estimated at about 8,000 auditors, of whom 22 per cent are Emirati.
