Mogadishu (HOL) —The National Communications Authority (NCA) convened a national consultation to develop Somalia’s Cybersecurity Risk Management and Compliance Framework, bringing together key government institutions, private-sector stakeholders, the education sector, civil society, and technical experts.
The consultation aimed to gather input and strengthen collaboration on developing a comprehensive framework to enhance the country’s cybersecurity posture, safeguard critical digital infrastructure, and ensure effective risk management and compliance across sectors.
“We encourage all stakeholders to take the time to carefully review the document, analyze it in detail, and provide thoughtful input on each component.” the Director General of the National Communications Authority, Mustafa Yasin Sheikh said.
